PALCO Fall Equipping Gathering!

Are you using volunteers to build your ministry or using your ministry to build volunteers?

Here's your chance to build volunteers—and get your ministry off to a great start this fall. 

When and Where?

Saturday AM, September 22, 2018
8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
The Christian Center, Peoria, IL
Doors will open at 8 AM.

What?

The Ministry Is Relationships training experience takes you back to the heart of Jesus, real-life ministry, disciplemaking, Gospel transformation and relationships! More of a fun learning experience than a passive workshop, you will encounter these sessions and learnings:

* Session 1  No Relationships = No Ministry; 

                    Know Relationships = Know Ministry

An out-of-the-box learning experience will get us started and explain why relationships are the heart of ministry—and God’s mode of operation for impacting and changing the lives of those in our ministry!

* Session 2 God-Powered Relationship Skills

Learn the biblical motivation for building relationships.  Learn the three key relationship skills for connecting with the heart of others.

* Session 3 He That Hath Ears—Let Him Hear!

A listening experience you will never forget—and be able to use in your life and ministry to build relationships.

* Session 4 CLEAN UP Messy Relationships

Learn to use God's relationship cleaning supplies.

Who Should Come?

Anyone junior high through senior citizen. Bring your team of volunteers and key students! I encourage you to do a working lunch with your team from 12:30-1:30 PM. You can use that time for applying what you learned in the training to your ministry. The training manual will walk you through this meeting with your team!

Cost?
$15 per person. Please make checks out to Cadre Missionaries. 
Each participant receives a training manual complete with practical application pages, follow-through ideas, an agenda for a large group action plan meeting, AND a twenty-five day One Another Living Guide for individual and small group study!

(It's probably NOT what you're thinking, but that's also the most compelling reason you shouldn't miss this PALCO gathering.)

Peoria Area Leadership ONGOING: We are encouraged and equipped!

So much fun at our Peoria Area Leadership Community Ongoing (PALCO) gathering last Thursday, March 15, 2018.

 Here's what we drilled down on.

 Some came all the way from Galesburg.

We explored how Jesus, disciplemaking and servanthood are the essence of what it means to be a leader. Whoever initiates time together and Kavanah IS the leader. Such a great time of havering.

I have a seat or two left for a ministry trip on Saturday, April 28th. If you're interesting in taking a ride with me and a friend or two to Clinton, IA, please contact me ASAP. If after experiencing this training, you'd like to take it back to your church/ministry, we can make that happen too.
